Gainesville native, Frank K. Norton, Jr. joined his family’s business, The Norton Agency, in 1986 as manager of both Commercial and Residential Real Estate Divisions. He was promoted to President of the holding company in 1997 and then became Executive Chairman, Chief Investment Strategist in 2022, and today manages a network of 90 associated businesses under the brand of Norton Legacy, Inc.

Well recognized for his excellent marketing skills and keen strategic business intuition, Frank has presented, for the past 36 years, an economic forecast outlining growth and business trends for the Northeast Georgia region. The report, based on a wealth of data collected by The Norton Agency’s Native Intelligence™ Division, is a resource that guides many area companies, governments, and organizations in making their business decisions.

Frank is also managing partner in Blackwatch Capital Fund; a private group of closed end funds geared toward long-term income investments in Georgia. In 2018, along with brother Bob Norton, Ncredible properties, a pilot of attainable housing initiative, was launched creating a test kitchen of affordable, cool rental communities.

Professionally, Frank holds Broker’s licenses in the states of Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, and North Carolina. He is a member of the Georgia Association of Realtors and the Council of Commercial Investment Managers and sits on the Board of First Multi Listing Services.

Besides his obvious commitment to the business of Real Estate, Frank is also involved with several community organizations. He is an assistant Scout Master to Boy Scout Troop 16, acting as the Eagle Scout Advisor, having achieved the Eagle Scout level at the age of 13 and the designation of Boy Scout of the Year for the State of Georgia at 15. He is a founder of Vision 2030 Public Art and a Trustee of Brenau University. He received recognition as Rotary Man of the Year, Junior Achievement Laureate, and Most Admired CFO by Atlanta Business Chronicle. As an artist, he regularly donates his “birds”, whimsical drawings he has hanging in 10 Southeastern galleries, to charitable groups for their fundraising.

He graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction, College of Architecture and at age 25, became the youngest manager in the history of Coldwell Banker Richard Ellis Commercial Real Estate. Frank and his wife of 40 years, Nancy, have two daughters, Teddie, Emilie, and a son, Tripp and 5 grandsons under the age of 4.
